TRAINS
Whilst Glossop enjoys a regular train service from Manchester Piccadilly railway station, the festival coincides with a package of major track renewal works by Network Rail and the local rail service will only run between Guide Bridge station and Glossop. A replacement bus service will run between Guide Bridge and Manchester Victoria station on Monday to Saturday and on Sunday 22 February between Manchester Victoria and Glossop stations.

CAR
Glossop is on the A57 main road between Manchester and (via the Snake Road) Sheffield. The A57 west of Glossop connects to the M67 and the national Motorway network at Mottram, and the A628 trans-Pennine road to South Yorkshire.
Long stay parking in the town centre is available at Edward Street (max 10 hours) and short stay parking (max 4 hours) at Bernard Street and the Municipal Buildings. All are pay and display by coins and card payment or the PayByPhone application.
Electric charging points are available at the Edward Street and Municipal Buildings car parks, and the Howard Town retail car park.

MANCHESTER AIRPORT
Manchester Airport is 20 miles away by road from Glossop and provides access to wide choice of European and long haul international air services, and domestic air services to London, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The airport is served by direct rail services to Manchester, the Manchester Metrolink tram network and local bus services. The rail link will, however, be impacted by the track works at Manchester Piccadilly and bus services will replace many of its train services during the festival period.
